Representation Options
Marin County Mediation Practice
As a mediator, Rachel works with both parties in a neutral capacity to help the parties resolve their differences in an amicable way. Mediation is beneficial because it allows the parties to control the outcome of their case rather than putting their fate in the hands of the court.
Individual Representation
If you retain Rachel to represent you in an individual capacity, she will advocate for you in all aspects of your case, including preparing all of the documents necessary for completing the divorce or legal separation process, filing motions for temporary child or spousal support and child custody and visitation issues. Rachel will communicate with the opposing attorney (or party if the other party does not have an attorney) and will discuss settlement options with you and opposing counsel in an attempt to resolve all matters without the need for court intervention.
Parenting Coordination
Parenting coordination is a child-focused alternative dispute resolution process that helps parents in high-conflict cases resolve parenting disputes without court intervention. When acting as a parenting coordinator, Rachel will receive information from both parties in order to understand the issue that is in dispute and will render a decision on the issue based on what is in the best interest of the children.
